Bom, hoje começo uma serie de posts falando sobre minha escola. Uma serie porque passei três mêses lá e aprendi muito e tenho muito o que contar
Eu estudei na ILAC (International Language Academy of Canada), uma das maiores escolas de inglês aqui de Toronto. E ela também possui uma unidade em Vancouver.
A escola é simplesmente maravilhosa, não tenho do que reclamar. E queria compartilhar um pouquinho de como é tudo por lá:
AMBIENTE
Existem 4 prédios diferentes que você pode estudar, todos eles são proximos e você pode ir a pé de um para o outro. O prédio que você vai estudar vai depender do nível que você estiver. E eu acho isso muito interessante pois permite que você converse com pessoas que tem um nível de inglês semelhante ao seu, mas que mesmo assim possibilita você aprender pois nem todos possuem as mesmas dificuldades.
O mais legal de tudo na escola é você poder conversar com gente de todas as partes do mundo e conhecer gente nova o tempo todo. A escola recebe novos alunos todas as segundas-feiras, e as pessoas trocam de nível também às segundas, ou seja, toda semana sua sala é diferente.
Sim, tem muitos e muitos brasileiros na escola, mas também tem árabes, japoneses, coreanos, italianos, venezuelanos, colombianos, espanhois, mexicanos, peruanos, tailandeses, taiwaneses, vietinamitas, croatas, russos…. Sim, pessoas de todos os lugares do mundo. Isso permite você conhecer novas culturas, fazer muitos amigos e é claro aprender inglês, pois não tem outra forma de se comunicar se não em inglês.
Também é muito interessante perceber os sotaques de cada país, mesmo no inglês você percebe isso. No começo é bem difícil entender algumas coisas, mas depois isso melhora e você conversa facilmente com qualquer um. E é uma das coisas que faz a diferença em fazer curso de inglês em seu país ou fora dele.

Hi everybody
Today I will start a sequence of posts talking about my school. A sequence cuz I spent three months there and I learned so much and I have so much things to share.
I have studied at ILAC (International Language Academy of Canada), one of the biggest English schools here in Toronto. And it has another school in Vancouver
The school is just wonderful, I don’t have anything to complain. And I’d want to share a little bit of how are the things there:
ENVIRONMENT
There are 4 different buildings that you can study, every one of them are near each other and you can go by foot. The build that you will study depends on which level you will be. And I think that is so interesting cuz lets you talk with people who have an English similar than yours, but even with the similar English you can learn more because the people have different difficulties.
The coolest things in the school is that you can talk with people from all around the world and meet new people all the time. The school receives new students every Monday, and the people change level every Monday too, in other words, every week your class is different.
Yes, there are many and many Brazilians in the school, but also there are Arabic, Japanese, Koreans, Italians, Colombians, Venezuelans, Spanish, Mexicans, Peruvians, Thai, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Croatians, Russians… Yes, people from all around the world. This lets you know new cultures, to make many friends and, of course, to learn English cuz you don’t have another way to talk with them without English.
Also it is so interesting to realize the accents from each country, even in English you can realize this. In the beginning is too hard to understand some things, but later it becomes easier and you easily talk with anyone. And this is one of the things that makes the difference between do an English course in your country or not.
